The 8th Bangladesh School of Internet Governance (bdSIG) is set to commence from April 25th to April 27th, 2024.
Hosted under the theme “An Open, Free and Secure Digital Governance for All,” the event will take place in the Conference room of the Bangladesh Telecommunication Regulatory Commission (BTRC) and the Department of Computer Science & Engineering (CSE) at Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology.

With objectives including enhancing knowledge of the digital ecosystem, cultivating next-generation leaders in Internet Governance, defining rights and freedoms in the digital environment, and fostering political leadership for a smarter Bangladesh, the bdSIG aims to address critical issues in the digital sphere.
This year, the bdSIG Fellowship Committee has selected 43 individuals as fellows for the 8th bdSIG 2024 program.
The selected fellows will participate in the three-day event, engaging in discussions, workshops, and networking opportunities.
The bdSIG, a community-driven initiative organized by the Bangladesh Internet Governance Forum (BIGF) in collaboration with the United Nations Internet Governance Forum, underscores the importance of collaborative efforts in shaping the digital future of Bangladesh.
