The event is designed to help businesses, from small workshops to large-scale manufacturers, become more effective. They can achieve this by upgrading their existing machinery and integrating new, efficient processes. The exhibition actively promotes the adoption of modern furniture technology in local wood product manufacturing.
Knowledge Sharing and Industry Support
The exhibition is actively supported by several key industry bodies. These include the Federation of Handicraft Associations of Nepal, the Federation of Community Forest Users Nepal, the Nepal Forest Products Industry Entrepreneurs’ Federation, the Nepal Plywood Producers Association, and the Interior Designer Association Nepal (IDAN).

These knowledge-sharing sessions will significantly contribute to the development and modernization of Nepal’s current wood, furniture, and interior sectors.
Paving the Way for a Modern Industry
Organizers emphasize that the Expo serves as a vital conduit. It simplifies the process of introducing new technological equipment into Nepal’s wood, furniture, and interior sectors. Furthermore, it makes technologies that have proven successful abroad readily available in the Nepali market.
The event plays a constructive role in improving existing wood product manufacturing practices in Nepal. By showcasing global best practices and modern wood machinery, the 11th Nepal Wood Expo is actively shaping a more modern and globally competitive wood and furniture industry within the country.
