The initiative, executed through the bank’s Sardi Branch, falls under its robust Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) framework. The program specifically targeted 138 students from Nursery to Grade 8, many of whom come from economically disadvantaged backgrounds.
Promoting Inclusive Education in Community Schools
During the event, Mr. Surendra Bhandari, the Narayangarh Regional Manager of Kamana Sewa Bikas Bank, handed over the materials to Mr. Dal Bahadur Sinjali, Chairman of the School Management Committee.
The distribution focused on providing “play-based” and “visual-aid” learning tools, which are essential for early childhood development. The items included:
Visual Aids: Alphabet and number charts, week and month calendars, and educational posters.
Learning Kits: Pencil colors, notebooks, pencils, and Nursery-level study materials.
Early Childhood Tools: Specialized educational equipment designed for younger learners.
Strengthening the Educational Foundation
Chairman Dal Bahadur Sinjali expressed deep gratitude toward the bank, noting that such contributions are vital for community schools. “These materials do more than just fill bags; they make the learning process engaging and effective, significantly boosting the morale of our students,” he stated.
Regional Manager Surendra Bhandari echoed this sentiment, emphasizing that the bank’s goal is to bridge the gap in educational resources. He reaffirmed that Kamana Sewa Bikas Bank will continue to prioritize literacy programs and community-led collaborations in the future.
Kamana Sewa Bikas Bank: A Leader in CSR
This latest initiative is part of a broader string of social activities by the bank in 2026, which includes:

Health Support: Handing over water dispensers and medical equipment to health centers in various provinces.
Educational Scholarships: Providing financial aid to students at prestigious institutions like Bhanu Secondary School (Durbar High School).
