Following the successful allotment of shares to project-affected locals in Bajhang and Nepalese citizens working abroad, the company is now offering its remaining ordinary shares to the wider public.
IPO Details and Subscription Timeline
The company is issuing 2,870,000 units of ordinary shares at a face value of NPR 100 per share. The total value of this public offering stands at NPR 287 million.

Project Profile: Kalanga Gad Hydroelectric Project
Kalanga Hydro Limited operates the 15.33 MW Kalanga Gad Hydroelectric Project, a run-of-river (RoR) facility located in the Bajhang district of Sudurpaschim Province.
The project officially began commercial power generation on February 10, 2023. Built under the BOOT (Build, Own, Operate, and Transfer) mechanism, the project has a 30-year Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) with the Nepal Electricity Authority (NEA).
Financial Health and Credit Rating
Care Ratings Nepal has assigned a ‘CARE-NP BB’ issuer rating to the company. This rating indicates a moderate risk regarding the timely servicing of financial obligations.
While the project is already operational and generating revenue, the rating reflects the financial leverage common in large-scale infrastructure projects.
