7th May 2026, Kathmandu
Celebrating a quarter-century of trust and financial protection, Nepal Life Insurance Company Limited recently marked its 25th anniversary with a series of impactful community service initiatives.
Nepal Life Insurance Anniversary
Staying true to its core mission of safeguarding lives, the company organized a comprehensive free health camp and a massive nationwide blood donation drive across all seven provinces. These events highlight the insurer’s deep-rooted commitment to Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and its dedication to the well-being of the Nepali public.
For over two decades, Nepal Life has been a pillar of the insurance sector, and this anniversary celebration serves as a reminder that the company’s success is intrinsically linked to the health and prosperity of the communities it serves.
Free Health Camp Benefits Hundreds in Kathmandu
To kick off the Nepal Life Insurance anniversary festivities, a two-day free health camp was conducted on Baisakh 21 and 22 at the company’s head office in Kathmandu. Organized in collaboration with RB Diagnostic, the camp provided high-quality medical screenings to the general public.
Participants at the camp had access to a wide array of essential diagnostic tests, including ECG, thyroid function tests, blood sugar monitoring, blood pressure checks, SGPT (liver function), cholesterol, and uric acid levels. Beyond the testing, specialist doctors were on-site to provide free medical consultations based on the results. By the end of the two-day event, 601 individuals had directly benefited from these screenings, ensuring early detection and health awareness for a significant number of citizens.
Nationwide Blood Donation Drive Collects 505 Pints
Parallel to the health camp in the capital, Nepal Life coordinated a large-scale blood donation campaign across 13 major locations spanning every province in Nepal. This nationwide effort addressed the chronic shortage of blood in regional blood banks and showcased the company’s extensive reach.
A total of 505 pints of blood were collected during the drive. The participation breakdown across the provinces was as follows:
In Bagmati Province, the response was particularly strong with 78 donors in Kathmandu, 81 in Narayangadh, 39 in Nuwakot, 26 in Hetauda, and 32 in Banepa. In Gandaki Province, Pokhara contributed 55 donors, while Lumbini Province saw 33 donors in Butwal and 34 in Bhairahawa. Koshi Province’s Itahari branch recorded 30 donors, while Madhesh Province contributed through 25 donors each in Birgunj and Janakpur. Finally, 25 donors participated in Surkhet (Karnali) and 33 in Dhangadhi (Sudurpaschim).
Strengthening Healthcare Access Through CSR
With the guiding philosophy that “life is precious,” Nepal Life Insurance continues to use its market leadership—currently holding nearly 30% of the life insurance market share—to drive social change. The Nepal Life Insurance anniversary events are not just one-off celebrations but part of a larger mission to foster a secure and prosperous future for Nepal.
