In a major boost for IT aspirants in Western Nepal, Kathmandu University (KU) has officially extended its prestigious Bachelor of Information Technology (BIT) program to Radiant College, located in Tilottama-5, Shankerpur, Rupandehi.

Run under the KU School of Engineering (KUSOE), this 4-year undergraduate program will be available at Radiant College starting from the current 2026 intake. Notably, the college has already been successfully running the B.Tech. Ed. IT program under the KU School of Education (KUSOED) for the past two years.

Course Eligibility Criteria
To apply for Kathmandu University’s IT programs at Radiant College, candidates must meet the following criteria:
For BIT (Bachelor of Information Technology): Must have passed +2 or equivalent with PCM (Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics) OR PMCs (Physics, Mathematics, and Computer Science).
For BTech Ed. IT: Open to students from all streams, including Science, Management, Education, or equivalent +2 courses.
Note for Appearing Students: Students who are awaiting their results or have received an NG (Not Graded) in certain subjects are also eligible to sit for the KU Entrance Examination.
