Abhishek Kalakheti, a resident of Biratnagar currently employed in Saudi Arabia, has won a BYD Atto 1 electric vehicle under the “Send Money to Nepal via Tiqmo and IME, Win Exciting Prizes” promotional scheme organized jointly by IME Limited and digital wallet provider Tiqmo.

During a formal handover ceremony conducted in Kathmandu, the keys to the grand prize electric car were officially presented to the winner’s spouse, Kalpana Kalakheti, by Chandra Prasad Dhakal, Chairman of IME Group.

Campaign Duration and Prize Allocation Breakdown

The promotional scheme ran from Poush 21, 2082, to Ashad 16, 2083, aiming to encourage Nepalis in Saudi Arabia to adopt safe and fast digital channels for money transfers.

The prize distribution was structured across two distinct promotional phases:

First Phase Rewards (January 5 to March 31, 2026)

• 12 weekly lucky draw winners received iPhone 17 smartphones.
• 2 monthly winners received electric scooters.

Second Phase Rewards (April 5 to June 30, 2026)

• 5 weekly winners each received cash prizes of 10,000 Nepalese rupees.
• 1 grand bumper prize winner, Abhishek Kalakheti, was awarded the BYD Atto 1 EV car.

Launch of New Follow Up Remittance Campaign

Following the successful completion of the initial scheme, IME and Tiqmo announced a new promotional initiative for Nepalis sending money from Saudi Arabia.

The upcoming campaign will operate from Shrawan 17, 2083, to Kartik 14, 2083, offering the following incentive tiers:

• Weekly Draw: 2 winners every week will receive rewards equal to two times their remitted amount.
• Monthly Draw: 2 winners every month will receive rewards equal to three times their remitted amount.
• Grand Bumper Draw: 2 lucky winners will receive bumper rewards worth up to five times their remitted amount.

The management of IME expressed strong confidence that this new campaign will further strengthen formal remittance flows and deepen the strategic partnership between IME and Tiqmo.
