At a press conference held in Kathmandu on Wednesday, the Forum announced that the 23rd edition of the awards will take place on Bhadra 18 (September 3, 2026) at The Blue Pavilion, Nepal Police Club.
On the occasion, NSJF also signed a sponsorship agreement with Golchha Group, which will continue as the title sponsor of the awards. The agreement was signed by NSJF President Niranjan Adhikari and Golchha Group Director Abhimanyu Golchha.
The two organizations had signed a five-year partnership agreement last year, and the collaboration is currently in its second year. This marks the 19th consecutive year that Golchha Group has partnered with the prestigious awards.
Speaking at the event, Abhimanyu Golchha, Director of Golchha Group, expressed his delight at continuing the long-standing partnership and reaffirmed the company’s commitment to supporting the growth of Nepali sports.
“We are proud to continue our 19-year journey with the Nepal Sports Journalists Forum. Golchha Group remains committed to encouraging athletes, coaches, and individuals who contribute to the sports sector, while supporting the overall development of sports in Nepal. We are confident that, through our collaboration with NSJF, this award ceremony will become even more impactful and meaningful.”
NSJF President Niranjan Adhikari thanked Golchha Group for its continued support, stating that partnering with one of Nepal’s oldest and most respected business houses—known for its significant contributions to the country’s industrial, commercial, and economic development—has enabled the Forum to organize and sustain the awards in a more systematic and effective manner.
