Laxmi Sunrise Bank Opens Applications For NPR 3 Billion Debenture Issue

Laxmi Sunrise Bank Limited has officially opened applications for its NPR 3 billion debenture offering.

The bank is issuing 3 million debentures priced at a face value of NPR 1,000 per unit.
Titled “7% Laxmi Sunrise Debenture 2092,” the fixed-income instrument offers an annual interest yield of 7% across a 10-year tenure.
Machhapuchchhre Capital Limited is serving as the official issue and sales manager for the public offering.
This issue aims to reinforce Laxmi Sunrise Bank’s long-term capital base and support its future corporate lending operations.
Subscription Allocations For Private Placement And Public Offering
The total issuance of 3 million debenture units is divided into distinct private and public categories:
- Private Placement: 1.8 million units, representing 60% of the total issue, are set aside for institutional investors through direct placement.
- Public Offering: 1.2 million units, representing 40% of the issue, are offered to individual retail investors and the general public.
- Mutual Fund Reserve: 60,000 units, comprising 5% of the public portion, are strictly allocated for registered mutual fund schemes.
Application Guidelines And Issue Timeline
Retail investors can apply through C-ASBA member banks, financial institutions, and the Mero Share online platform.
- Minimum Application: Investors must apply for a minimum of 25 units, amounting to a baseline investment of NPR 25,000.
- Maximum Application: Interested parties can apply up to the full number of units available in the public allocation.
- Primary Closing Date: The issue is scheduled to close on Shrawan 19 upon full subscription after regular banking hours.
- Extended Deadline: If the offering remains unsubscribed by Shrawan 19, the application window will extend until Shrawan 28.
