Himal Dental Hospital Appoints Muktinath Capital As Issue Manager For Initial Public Offering

Himal Dental Hospital & Institute of Dental Science Limited has taken a key step toward its Initial Public Offering (IPO).

The company has appointed Muktinath Capital Limited as its official issue and sales manager to handle the public share issuance.
Under the signed agreement, the institution plans to issue 20% of its total issued capital to the general public.
Rajendra Prasad Bhatta, Chairman of Himal Dental Hospital, and Kavindradhwaj Joshi, Chief Executive Officer of Muktinath Capital, signed the agreement.
Company representatives Laxmi Prasad Prasai and Dr. Niranjan Acharya were also present at the signing ceremony.
Background And Current Operations
Established in 2003, Himal Dental Hospital delivers comprehensive oral healthcare services across four locations in Kathmandu:
- Dhumbarahi Facility: Serves as a major center for advanced dental care and technical education.
- Chabahil Branch: Provides general and specialized oral treatments to local communities.
- Kamaladi Center: Delivers accessible clinical care in a central urban zone.
- Sankhu Branch: Extends oral healthcare services to outer suburban populations.
The hospital offers specialized clinical disciplines, including:
- Endodontics and Root Canal Treatment: Preserves damaged teeth through internal tissue care.
- Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery: Handles complex surgical procedures involving jaws and face structures.
- Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics: Corrects misaligned teeth and jaw alignments.
- Pediatric and Community Dentistry: Delivers specialized dental care for children and rural populations.
- Periodontics and Prosthodontics: Treats gum conditions and replaces missing teeth with custom prosthetics.
Its centers feature modern medical technology, such as 3D CBCT X-ray scanners, laser dentistry tools, milling machines, and dedicated ambulance support.
Educational Initiatives Via CTEVT Affiliation
In addition to clinical services, the company expanded into technical education by establishing the Himal Institute of Dental Science in 2008.
Affiliated with the Council for Technical Education and Vocational Training (CTEVT), the institute is currently training its 19th batch of dental students.
The educational division focuses on producing qualified health workers and technical staff to support Nepal’s healthcare system.
