The commercial bank announced that selected branches will undergo structural consolidation and physical relocation from their present operational premises, effective August 17, 2026, corresponding to Bhadra 1, 2083 in the official Nepali calendar.
The financial institution assured account holders that all banking services, safe deposit locker facilities, and general customer accounts maintained at the affected branches will continue seamlessly from the newly designated locations following the consolidation process.
Details of Relocated Branches and Address Changes
The consolidation and relocation scheme covers branch offices located in Kathmandu Metropolitan City and Butwal Sub Metropolitan City:
First, Ghantaghar Branch situated in Kathmandu District, Kathmandu Metropolitan City Ward Number 32, located behind Kamaladi Ganeshthan and near Tri Chandra College, is being consolidated and moved 500 meters to Tindhara Branch. The relocated premises will operate under the name Tindhara Branch, situated at Kathmandu District, Kathmandu Metropolitan City Ward Number 32, Tindhara, near Yak and Yeti Hotel.
Second, Butwal Branch situated in Rupandehi District, Butwal Sub Metropolitan City Ward Number 4, Butwal, is being relocated 150 meters away to new premises directly opposite the former branch office within Rupandehi District, Butwal Sub Metropolitan City Ward Number 4, Butwal, maintaining the name Butwal Branch.
Locker Transfer Guidelines and Operational Deadlines
Nabil Bank Limited has issued specific instructions for customers maintaining safe deposit locker facilities at the affected branch locations.
Locker service clients are requested to visit their respective current branch offices to initiate and complete the transfer of their locker contents to the new designated premises.
The bank has set a strict deadline of August 14, 2026, corresponding to Shrawan 29, 2083, falling on Friday, during regular banking transaction hours between 9 AM and 4 PM to complete locker transfers.
Customers requiring additional technical or administrative guidance regarding locker movements are advised to contact branch management directly.
The bank clarified that clients who do not complete locker transfers within the specified timeframe will be contacted individually by bank officials to follow separate administrative procedures.
