Known for its attractive and bold design, the pickup has recently been gaining popularity in the Nepali market.
The new minibus was jointly unveiled by Mr. Dhurbha Thapa, Chairman of Himalaya
Organisation; Mr. Aakash Golchha, Director; and Mr. Saurab Thapa, Managing Director. Mr. Kapil Siwakoti, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Himalaya Organisation, was also present at the event, along with media personalities and guests.
As the electric vehicle market continues to expand in Nepal’s public transportation sector, the MAXUS eDELIVER 5 offers features and conveniences comparable to those of electric passenger cars.
According to the company, the minibus combines modern and attractive styling, a well-equipped interior, advanced safety technologies, passenger comfort, and practical functionality.
For a premium travel experience, the vehicle features a 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system that supports Bluetooth, USB, wireless Apple CarPlay, and Android Auto. Additional features, including a four-way adjustable steering wheel, an attractive and modern cockpit, and steering-mounted controls and switches, contribute to a more convenient and modern driving experience.

The vehicle supports DC fast charging at up to 70 kW, allowing the battery to charge from 20% to 80% in approximately 36 minutes under specified conditions.
Prioritising safety and convenience, the vehicle incorporates modern technologies such as a
360-degree around-view camera, Automatic Emergency Braking, Forward Collision Warning, Adaptive Cruise Control, Lane Departure Warning, Lane Keep Assist, Emergency Lane Keeping, and Driver State Monitoring.

Vehicles manufactured in China by MAXUS, a brand under the globally renowned SAIC Group, are recognised for their quality and reliability. The company claims that the MAXUS eDELIVER 5 offers an extensive range of features rarely found in electric minibuses currently available in Nepal, while its price is also lower than that of competing models.

Supporting the Future of Sustainable Mobility in Nepal
With the launch of the MAXUS eDELIVER 5, Himalaya Organisation has reaffirmed its commitment to introducing modern and innovative vehicles to the Nepali market, alongside providing modern and well-equipped after-sales services throughout Nepal.
At a time when passenger transportation services in Nepal are increasingly prioritising service quality and environmentally friendly practices, the introduction of premium-featured vehicles such as the MAXUS eDELIVER 5 creates new opportunities to improve passenger comfort and safety.
