Shangrila Development Bank Declares Dividend for Fiscal Year 2082/83

Shangrila Development Bank has announced its dividend distribution for the fiscal year 2082/83 following a decision made during a Board of Directors meeting held on Monday afternoon.
Shangrila Development Bank Dividend
The bank proposed a total dividend of 10.5263 percent, amounting to 393.06 million Nepalese rupees, sourced from the accumulated profits of the fiscal year. The payout is calculated based on the current paid-up capital of 3.734 billion Nepalese rupees.
Breakdown of the Dividend Structure
The overall dividend package approved by the board consists of two main components:

- Bonus Shares: 4 percent, equivalent to 149.36 million Nepalese rupees
- Cash Dividend: 6.5263 percent, equivalent to 243.70 million Nepalese rupees
The total cash component covers the cash payout to shareholders as well as the applicable tax obligations on both the cash dividend and the distributed bonus shares.
Approval and Distribution Process
The execution of the declared dividend remains subject to regulatory oversight. The bank stated that the payout will be distributed to eligible shareholders after obtaining formal approval from Nepal Rastra Bank and securing final endorsement from the upcoming Annual General Meeting AGM of the development bank.
