Himalayan Bank Limited has announced financial assistance to support emergency rescue, immediate aid, and long-term rehabilitation for citizens affected by the Bhotekoshi River flood in Rasuwa.

Total CSR Contribution: The bank has allocated NPR 30.1 million (NPR 3.01 crore) under its corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiative.
Channel of Support: The entire contribution will be deposited directly into the Prime Minister Natural Disaster Assistance Fund.

Flood Background: Debris-laden floodwaters along the Bhotekoshi River on the morning of Bhadra 10 caused severe damage to settlements along the Bhotekoshi and Trishuli river corridors.
