It is aimed to refill and supply cooking gas using cylinders of any available brand to maintain stable supply across the Kathmandu Valley following structural blockages along the Prithvi Highway.
Emergency Bottling and Transport Instructions
Operational Scope: NOC LPG Department Director Binit Mani Upadhyay issued formal directives to regional bottling units to process gas bullets into available third party cylinders and reroute freight shipments to Kathmandu and adjacent districts.
Trigger Event: The emergency measures remain active until road clearing operations resolve the Krishnabhir landslide and restore normal traffic movement along the Prithvi Highway.
Plant Specific Mandates: Sahara Gas Industry in Hetauda has been directed to bottle gas into Everest and Sugam brand cylinders. Bullet loads intended for other brands are being offloaded at the Hetauda facility and dispatched via truck over alternative road routes.

Widespread Compliance: Nepal Gas has initiated cross brand cylinder refilling operations at its processing facilities in Chitwan and Dhanusha, while Sagar Gas has started similar operations at its Chandeshwari plant in Nawalparasi.

Transit Timeline: Initial shipments from Sahara Gas Industry carrying Everest and Sugam cylinders encountered delays due to secondary landslides along the Kanti Lokpath before arriving in Kathmandu at 2 PM on Tuesday.
