Nepal Vegetable Ghee and Oil Producers Association Contributes 10.1 Million Rupees for Flood Relief

The Nepal Vegetable Ghee and Oil Producers Association has provided financial assistance exceeding 10 million rupees to the Prime Minister Relief Fund to support emergency relief and rehabilitation for victims of the Bhadra 10 flood.

Financial Contribution and Cheque Handover
Total Allocation: Affiliated industries and the association collectively raised 10.1 million rupees for disaster assistance.
Official Handover: Association President Bikash Dugad along with executive office bearers met Finance Minister Swarnim Wagle on Wednesday to formally present the relief cheque.
Fund Recipient: The collected contribution was deposited directly into the Prime Minister Relief Fund to facilitate state-led emergency response.
Association Recommendations and Future CSR Commitment
Infrastructure and Rehabilitation: The association emphasized the urgent need for swift medical aid, relief distribution, long-term rehabilitation, and public infrastructure reconstruction in affected areas.
Ongoing Support: The executive board confirmed that the association will continue to undertake disaster relief and community support activities under its Corporate Social Responsibility framework.
