Yamaha Blue Streaks Delivers Flood Relief Aid to Rasuwa & Nuwakot

On Bhadra 10, a sudden flash flood struck Rasuwa District, damaging a bridge and flooding homes across the area. Families who had built their lives around these hills were left facing an uncertain road to recovery, with many losing access to necessities overnight.
In response, the Blue Streaks motorcycle group turned their passion for riding into a mission of hope for the affected communities of Rasuwa and Nuwakot.
To respond quickly, Blue Streaks riders came together and collected funds from all Blue Streaks members, raising about 93,000 NPR. The community maintained transparency throughout the process, publicly sharing its donor list, with contributions made through both cash and online donations.
With the funds raised, Blue Streaks members packed and loaded relief supplies, including rice, lentils, bottled water, and sanitary products such as sanitary pads.

Members worked through heavy rain to prepare the packages, then transported them to the affected area using a convoy of motorcycles supported by a vehicle carrying additional supplies.
Speaking about the initiative, Executive Director & CEO of MAW Rides Pvt. Ltd., Deepak Kumar Agrawal said, “Our riders don’t just ride together; we give back together. From CSR activities across Nepal to moments like this, our motto has always been ride for pride. Blue Streaks will continue standing by society whenever we are needed.”
The aid was distributed at a holding center set up at Shree Sundari Keurini Secondary School in Nuwakot. There, Blue Streaks members met directly with flood victims, including elderly residents and children, offering not just supplies but also comfort and encouragement during this difficult time.
As recovery continues in the flood-affected areas, Blue Streaks’ initiative stands as an example of how shared passion can turn into meaningful action, reaching families when they need it most.
