Following severe flooding of the Bhotekoshi River on August 26, 2026, which heavily damaged ground telecommunications and internet infrastructure across Rasuwa district, Dish Media Network Limited (DishHome) has stepped in to restore vital connectivity. Operating with official approval and coordination from the Nepal Telecommunications Authority (NTA), DishHome partnered with Eutelsat to deploy free OneWeb satellite internet services to the hardest-hit areas, effective September 5, 2026.
