Nepal SBI Bank Contributes Rs 13.1 Million to PM Disaster Relief Fund

Nepal SBI Bank Limited has provided Rs 13.1 million in financial assistance to the Prime Minister Disaster Relief Fund to support ongoing relief and rehabilitation efforts for communities affected by the severe Bhotekoshi floods.

The total aid combines capital allocated under the bank Corporate Social Responsibility program along with voluntary salary contributions from its employees.

Handover Delegation and Official Presentation

The contribution cheque was formally handed over to government leadership at the Ministry of Finance in Singha Durbar.

• Cheque Handover: Ram Kumar Tiwari, Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Nepal SBI Bank, officially presented the cheque for Rs 13.1 million to Finance Minister Dr Swarnim Wagle.
• Institutional Representation: The presentation ceremony was attended by senior executive management, including Deputy Chief Executive Officer and Chief Operating Officer Bikas Anand, Chief Financial Officer Rajesh Kumar Panda, Chief Compliance Officer Bishnu Dev Yadav, and Chief Business Promotion Officer Pravin Mani Bajracharya.
• Fund Allocation: The funds will be managed under the central disaster relief portal to support emergency supplies, rescue infrastructure, and long term rebuilding projects in Rasuwa and affected surrounding regions.
