The Esports Association of Nepal (EAN) has officially unveiled its comprehensive annual event calendar, featuring a robust lineup of national and international tournaments designed to transform the competitive gaming landscape in the country.
The highlight of the newly released calendar is the official announcement of the Nepal Esports League, a high-stakes franchise-style tournament scheduled to run for nearly three months, from January to March.
Key Highlights from the EAN Annual Calendar
Nepal Esports League: Scheduled from Magh to Chaitra (January–March), this three-month league format aims to professionalize and organize competitive gaming across the nation.
10th National Games Inclusion: In a historic milestone for the country’s gaming community, esports has been officially incorporated as a medal event in the upcoming 10th National Games for the first time.

PUBG Mobile Global Open: The South Asian Championship is lined up to take place from Bhadra 31 to Ashwin 3 (September 16–19).
Inter-College Championship: Planned for the month of Poush (December–January) to foster grassroots talent among students.
Driving Professional Growth
Speaking at the unveiling ceremony on Sunday, EAN Secretary Ashish Dahal emphasized that the new calendar is structured to keep esports activities running seamlessly throughout the year.
“We have announced a league-structured competition with the core objective of making esports in Nepal more professional and systematic,” Dahal stated. “The association believes this initiative will add a brand-new dimension to the future of Nepalese esports.”
The release of this structured roadmap marks a significant step forward for the gaming sector in Nepal, providing local athletes, teams, and organizers with predictable timelines to train, compete, and commercialize their talents.
