Prabhu Bank Conducts Nationwide Blood Donation Drive: 321 Pints Collected Across All 7 Provinces

Prabhu Bank Ltd., in partnership with the Nepal Red Cross Society, organized a nationwide blood donation drive across 8 branches in all 7 provinces to aid flood and disaster victims.
Nationwide Blood Donation Drive
To assist citizens injured in recent floods and natural disasters across the country, Prabhu Bank Limited organized a nationwide blood donation program under its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative. The drive was held on September 15, 2026 (Bhadra 30, 2083 BS) in collaboration with the Nepal Red Cross Society.
321 Pints Collected Across 8 Branches in All 7 Provinces
The blood donation program was conducted simultaneously across eight designated branches, including the head office, covering all seven provinces. A total of 321 pints of blood were collected during the drive.
Bagmati Province: Head Office (Babarmahal, Kathmandu) & Narayangadh Branch (Chitwan)
Koshi Province: Biratnagar Branch
Madhesh Province: Simara Branch
Gandaki Province: Amarsingh Chowk Branch (Pokhara)
Lumbini Province: Butwal Branch

Prabhu Bank’s Ongoing Commitment to Disaster Relief
Before this blood donation campaign, Prabhu Bank actively supported flood-affected and displaced families through financial aid and direct logistics relief:
Prime Minister’s Disaster Relief Fund: Contributed over NPR 2.51 Crore, which includes NPR 2,11,11,111 from the bank’s CSR fund and NPR 40,80,050 collected voluntarily from directors and employees.
Direct Logistics Support: Handed over 100 tents and 100 sleeping bags to the District Administration Office, Nuwakot, for immediate distribution to flood-affected families.
Condolences and Recommitment
Prabhu Bank expressed deep condolences to the families of national and international citizens who lost their lives in the natural disasters. The bank also wished for the swift rescue of missing persons and the speedy recovery of those injured.
Reaffirming its commitment, Prabhu Bank stated that it will continuously fulfill its social responsibility by supporting relief, rescue, and rehabilitation efforts for affected communities during these challenging times.
