ADBL Employees Contribute NPR 15.3 Million from Salaries For Bhote Koshi Flood Victims

ADBL employees have donated over NPR 15.3 million from their salaries and allowances to the Prime Minister Disaster Relief Fund to support Bhote Koshi flood victims.

Demonstrating a strong sense of social responsibility, ADBL employees have raised and contributed NPR 1,53,95,022 (One Crore Fifty-Three Lakh Ninety-Five Thousand and Twenty-Two Rupees) for the rescue, relief, and rehabilitation of citizens affected by the devastating floods in the Bhote Koshi River.
The contribution was collected voluntarily from the salaries and allowances of the bank’s workforce, ranging from top management and departmental heads to support staff.
Official Handover Ceremony: The cheque was officially handed over by the Bank’s Chairman of the Board of Directors, Tanka Prasad Pandey, and Acting Chief Executive Officer, Pratap Subedi, to the Minister for Finance of the Government of Nepal, Honorable Swarnim Wagle.

The handover event was also attended by Deputy General Manager Sushil Humagain, Marketing and Sales Department Head Bina Sharma, and Human Resource Management Department Head Ajay Rimal.
Ongoing Humanitarian Support: Before this employee-led initiative, ADBL had already contributed NPR 3 crore to the Prime Minister Disaster Relief Fund through its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) fund.
Additionally, the bank directly distributed food and relief materials worth NPR 10 lakh to flood-affected families. During these challenging times of natural disaster, both the institution and its employees continue to stand firmly with the affected communities.
