The awareness campaign uses real-world scenarios to demonstrate how improper writing on checks can lead to unauthorized manipulations.

- Financial Discipline Message: Highlights the importance of precision when writing amounts in both figures and words to protect against financial loss and unauthorized edits.
Four Key Security Precautions for Safe Check Issuance
To assist customers in preventing check alteration fraud, Nabil Bank outlined four practical rules to follow whenever issuing a check.
- Eliminate Blank Spaces: Ensure all fields are filled completely without leaving empty spaces where additional words or digits could be inserted.
- Suffix Word Amount with ‘Only’: Always write the word ‘Only’ immediately after writing the total amount in text.
- Terminate Numeric Amount with ‘/-‘: Place a dash and slash (‘/-‘) mark immediately following the numerical amount to prevent additional numbers from being appended.
- Clear and Complete Legibility: Write all details, including recipient names and monetary values, clearly across the full designated spaces.
