Miteri Development Bank Declares 11 Percent Dividend Including Bonus Shares and Cash

Miteri Development Bank Limited has proposed an 11 percent total dividend to its shareholders from the profits of the previous fiscal year.

The decision was formally made during the bank’s 276th Board of Directors meeting held on September 26, 2026 (Ashwin 10, 2083 BS).
Dividend Breakdown and Capital Allocation
The declared dividend distribution applies directly to the bank’s current paid-up capital of NPR 1.217 billion (NPR 1,217,100,000).
- Total Dividend Rate: 11 percent of total paid-up capital.
- Bonus Share Allocation: 5 percent bonus shares.
- Cash Dividend Allocation: 6 percent cash dividend, which includes applicable tax coverage.
- Paid-up Capital Base: Calculated on NPR 1.217 billion.
Regulatory Approvals and Shareholder Distribution Process
The proposed bonus and cash payout will proceed through standard regulatory and corporate approval channels prior to account credit.
- Central Bank Clearance: Subject to formal review and endorsement by Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB).
- Annual General Meeting: Distribution will be finalized upon approval by shareholders at the bank’s upcoming 21st Annual General Meeting (AGM).
- Execution Protocol: Following AGM ratification, bonus shares will be credited to Demat accounts and cash dividends directly remitted to registered bank accounts.
