Kumari Bank Limited Invites Sealed Bids for Mortgaged Property Auction

Kumari Bank Limited has officially issued a 7-day public notice inviting sealed bids for the re-auction of various real estate properties pledged as collateral against defaulted credit facilities.

The bank issued this notice through its Credit Recovery Department in Baneshwor, Kathmandu, after the concerned borrowers and personal guarantors failed to settle their outstanding loan obligations within the stipulated timeframe.
Auction Terms and Bidding Guidelines
- Bid Submission Deadline: Bids must be submitted by Ashwin 23, 2083 (October 9, 2026) during regular office hours up to 5:00 PM at the bank’s Credit Recovery Department in Baneshwor, Kathmandu.
- Bid Opening Schedule: Submitted sealed bids will be opened on Ashwin 24, 2083 (October 10, 2026) at 3:00 PM at the Credit Recovery Department.
- Application Requirements: Interested individual and institutional bidders must purchase the official bid form from the Credit Recovery Department upon payment of a non-refundable application fee of NPR 500.
- Earnest Money Deposit: Bidders are required to deposit 10 percent of their proposed bid amount into the specified bank account or attach a certified good-for-payment cheque along with the bid form.
- Property Status: All mortgaged properties under this auction notice are offered strictly on an “as is where is” basis, requiring buyers to conduct independent verification of property status and boundaries.
- Bank Authority: Kumari Bank Limited retains the absolute right to accept, reject, or modify any or all received bids at its sole discretion without assigning any reason.
