MAW Vridhi Launches Nepal’s Largest Foton EV Commercial Vehicle Service Center
5th October 2026, Kathmandu
MAW Vridhi Commercial Vehicles Pvt. Ltd. has been selling various commercial vehicles under the Foton brand in Nepal for many years.
To further strengthen its after-sales services, the company is establishing a large, state-of-the-art service center for electric commercial vehicles in Nepal. The new service center is expected to provide customers with convenient, efficient, and reliable after-sales service.
A state-of-the-art EV commercial vehicle service center, set to be one of the largest of its kind in Nepal, is currently under construction in Kathmandu’s Pepsicola area.
The facility is being developed with modern infrastructure, advanced service equipment, and enhanced service capacity to provide customers with efficient and reliable after-sales support.
The service center will be staffed by a team of skilled technicians and engineers trained by FOTON International. With specialized technical expertise and international-level training, the team will provide professional servicing and technical support to ensure a high standard of after-sales service for FOTON commercial vehicle customers.
With the expansion of its service network, Foton has reaffirmed its commitment to providing customers with reliable after-sales support, genuine spare parts, and quality service.
A New Benchmark in After-Sales Service
The upcoming Pepsicola service center has been designed to provide a wide range of automotive services under one roof, including regular maintenance, mechanical and electrical repairs, diagnostic inspections, technical assessments, parts replacement, and other essential service solutions.
Foton is placing particular emphasis on reducing service turnaround times and vehicle downtime, especially for customers who rely on their vehicles for commercial and business operations.
The company aims to complete vehicle repairs and maintenance in a timely and efficient manner while maintaining high service standards. Dr. Anil Kumar Baral, Chief Executive Officer of Foton Motor Nepal, said, “Quality after-sales service is our top priority.
Our responsibility goes beyond selling vehicles. We aim to ensure that every Foton customer has easy access to quality service, genuine spare parts, and professional technical support for their vehicles.”
Advanced Technical Expertise and Genuine Spare Parts
The new facility will be equipped with modern diagnostic and repair systems designed to support Foton’s growing vehicle portfolio in Nepal.
Highly qualified technicians and engineers, supported by training and certification from Foton International, will carry out inspections, maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs in line with Foton’s service standards.
The service center will also strengthen the availability and distribution of Foton Genuine Spare Parts through an organized inventory and parts management system.
This is expected to minimize delays caused by parts shortages and reduce the amount of time vehicles remain at the workshop.
Strengthening Foton’s Nationwide After-Sales Network
Foton currently has a growing after-sales network of 21 service centers and service touchpoints across Nepal, reinforcing the company’s focus on making quality service more accessible to customers. As part of its nationwide expansion plan, Foton aims to establish a Foton service touchpoint at intervals of no more than 100 kilometers along key routes from eastern to western Nepal by the end of 2026.
The initiative is designed to ensure that customers can access professional service and technical support more conveniently, regardless of where they operate their vehicles.
The upcoming Pepsicola service center represents a significant investment in Foton’s service infrastructure and reflects the company’s commitment to building long-term relationships with its customers.
Once operational, the facility will further strengthen Foton’s ability to serve customers across the Kathmandu Valley while supporting its broader nationwide after-sales strategy.
