Aadim College Partners One Cover For Cybersecurity Education in Nepal

In a significant move to bolster cybersecurity education and innovation in Nepal, Aadim College, a prominent educational institution, and One Cover Pvt. Ltd., a leading cybersecurity firm, officially signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU).

The agreement was formalized by Mr. Bhim Bahadur Saud, Business Development Manager at Aadim College, and Ms. Shayana Manandhar, Chief Relationship Officer at One Cover. This collaboration is designed to bridge the crucial gap between academic learning and industry best practices in key areas such as cybersecurity, risk management, IT audits, and security innovation.
Key Objectives of the Collaboration:
The two-year agreement outlines several key objectives to be pursued jointly:
Security Awareness Programs: Conducting comprehensive security awareness programs for students, faculty, and staff to foster a robust understanding of cyber threats.
SOC Environment Demonstration: Providing practical exposure through demonstrations of Security Operations Center (SOC) environments for educational purposes.
Specialized Training Modules: Offering targeted training modules on critical topics like vulnerability management and cyber risk assessment.
Student Engagement: Creating valuable opportunities for students through internships, workshops, and real-world project experiences.
Knowledge Sharing Events: Organizing technical seminars, conferences, and various capacity-building events to promote knowledge exchange.
Research and Innovation: Engaging in collaborative research and innovation initiatives focused on cybersecurity and digital security infrastructure.
Institutional Development: Providing consultation and managed security services to support the institutional development of Aadim College.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Under the terms of the MoU, Aadim College will facilitate the necessary infrastructure and logistics for collaborative activities, encourage the active participation of its students and faculty in One Cover’s programs, and integrate relevant cybersecurity concepts into its academic curriculum.
One Cover Pvt. Ltd. will contribute by providing subject matter experts for training and consulting sessions, offering internships, mentorships, and practical project opportunities to students, and extending professional guidance in crucial areas such as IT audit, SOC operations, vulnerability assessment, and risk management.
This partnership reflects a shared commitment from both Aadim College and One Cover Pvt. Ltd. to advance cybersecurity education and to equip students with the essential skills needed to navigate and contribute to the evolving digital landscape of Nepal.
