ADBL Donates NPR 30 Million
In a major effort to support communities devastated by recent widespread flooding across Nepal, Agricultural Development Bank Limited (ADBL) has contributed NPR 30 million (Rs 3 Crore) to the Prime Minister’s Disaster Relief Fund. The financial aid is dedicated to accelerating search, rescue, emergency relief, and long-term rehabilitation operations for affected citizens.
The bank’s Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Govinda Gurung, officially presented the cheque to Finance Minister Dr. Swarnim Wagle at the Ministry of Finance. The handover took place in the presence of Tanka Prasad Pandey, Chairman of ADBL’s Board of Directors.
Other key leadership representatives from the bank present at the event included Deputy General Manager Sushil Humagai, Departmental Head Bina Sharma, and Senior Branch Head Dhruba Paudel.

Corporate Social Responsibility During National Crises
Expressing profound sorrow over the heavy loss of life and physical infrastructure, ADBL offered its condolences to the grieving families and paid homage to those who lost their lives in the natural calamity.
Thousands of families across multiple regions have been displaced due to continuous torrential rain and resulting floodwaters. Bank management emphasized that stepping up to support relief operations during severe national disasters forms an essential pillar of the institution’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR).

To make it easier for individuals and organizations worldwide to contribute to ongoing relief operations, ADBL has made public the official government relief account maintained at the bank, alongside an integrated QR code.
ADBL appeals to all well-wishers, non-resident Nepalis (NRNs), and national and international non-governmental organizations (NGOs/INGOs) to extend maximum support during this period of hardship.
