Digital and Beyond is working with the Raspberry Pi Foundation to bring exciting new technologies into Nepal’s classrooms. Artificial intelligence (AI) plays a huge role in the world young people are growing up in, and this new partnership is about supporting Nepali educators to teach the next generation of AI innovators confidently.
AI Literacy Nepal Classrooms
Together, through Experience AI, we aim to give young people in Nepal the chance to become tech experts of the future.
Experience AI, co-developed by the Raspberry Pi Foundation and Google DeepMind, will make a big difference in Nepal. The AI literacy program will teach students aged 11-14 the foundations of AI, and how to become critical consumers and responsible creators of AI systems.
AI literacy opens up career opportunities and offers solutions to real-world challenges
Nepali students will learn skills to solve real-world challenges facing their country and be made aware of an ever-increasing range of AI-related careers. Students might go on to use their AI knowledge to help farmers grow better crops, make healthcare easier to access, or even create new businesses.
By learning these skills, Nepali youth can help make their country stronger and more connected to the digital world.
This initiative aligns with our broader mission to drive successful innovation and growth through strategic partnerships, paving the way for Nepal’s digital transformation and securing its place in the global tech landscape.
Philip Colligan, CEO of the Raspberry Pi Foundation said: “I am delighted to welcome
Digital and Beyond to the global network of organizations advancing AI literacy through Experience AI. Together we will provide thousands of young people in Nepal with the skills and confidence they need to thrive in a world that is increasingly being shaped by AI technologies.”
