The second wave of Covid-19 has hit a lot of us in a very critical and devasting scenario. There is a lack of oxygen in the hospitals, a lack of beds, lack of doctors. The death cases are increasing rapidly. Nepal has been counted in the second position for the death cases.

As the situation in the country has become dire due to the second wave of Corona. Akhil (Revolutionary), a student organization near the CPN-Maoist Center, has started a cowardly help desk. According to the organization, the Covid Help Desk has been started to provide general assistance in the Covid crisis.

Krantikari president Ranjit Tamang has issued a statement saying that hundreds of infected people are dying daily due to lack of hospital beds, ICUs, and ventilators for treatment and are turning into hospitals, isolation, and quarantine slaughterhouses due to lack of oxygen and demanded the government to focus on health care immediately.

Krantikari has also requested the Government of Nepal, all political parties, and various responsible bodies to immediately address the dire situation by mobilizing the country’s resources and mobilizing foreign aid, coordination with donor agencies, and other options.

This initiative of Covid Help Desk by Akhil (Revolutionary) will be the best initialization for the people suffering from the virus, who are staying in isolation and quarantine, and even just having the fear and stress of the virus.
