Anju Shrestha has been appointed as the new Acting CEO of Himalayan Everest Insurance Company, following a decision by the Board of Directors.

Shrestha, who has made significant contributions to the non-life insurance sector and has extensive experience in reinsurance, has taken over from Bijay Bahadur Shah, who was dismissed by Chairman Mahendra Krishna Shrestha.

Anju Shrestha has been with Himalayan Everest Insurance Company for many years, holding various positions in reinsurance before being promoted to Deputy CEO. Her appointment as Acting CEO is effective from June 13th.

According to the letter signed by Chairman Shrestha, the selection process for a permanent CEO will commence shortly.
