Apple announced and released new tablet on October 2014. This is comparatively a slim and light tablet having 6.1mm thickness. This tablet comes up with an iOS 8.1 that is upgradable iOS 9.2.
This tablet supports GSM / CDMA / HSPA / EVDO / LTE network configurations. This phone has a dimension of 240 x 169.5 x 6.1 mm (9.45 x 6.67 x 0.24 in) and weighs about 437 g (Wi-Fi) / 444 g (LTE) which is pretty light for a tablet. It uses nano SIM card as well as Apple SIM for US and UK.
The display is of 16M colors and has LED-backlit IPS LCD, capacities touchscreens. The screen size is 9.7 inches, and the screen-to-body ratio is 71.6%. The screen resolution is 1536 x 2048 pixels which are precisely 264 PPI pixel density and comes with scratch resistant glass and oleophobic coating. It doesn’t include any external SD slot.

It also comes with accelerometer, fingerprint, gyro, barometer and compass sensors. The battery used is Non-removable Li-ion 8820 mAh battery (27.3Wh) that gives upto 10h(multimedia) battery life. The colors available are Space Gray, Gold and Silver. The browser is HTML5. The optional Apple smart keyboard magnetic dock is available. It costs approximately 400 pounds.
