The 21st Asia-Pacific Telecommunity (APT) Telecommunication/ICT Development Forum (ADF-21) concluded successfully in Jakarta, Indonesia.

APT ADF-21: Bridging the Digital Divide

The three-day hybrid event brought together 186 participants from across the region to address critical issues in rural telecommunications development.

Hosted by the Ministry of Communications and Informatics, Indonesia, ADF-21 focused on leveraging technology to bridge the digital divide. The forum provided a platform for in-depth discussions on high-speed digital infrastructure, satellite communications, AI, digital transformation, disaster management, and digital inclusivity.

Key highlights of the event included presentations on successful ICT pilot projects supported by China, Japan, and Korea, as well as insights from regulators, policymakers, industry leaders, and academia. The forum emphasized the importance of collaboration and knowledge sharing in accelerating rural connectivity.

APT expresses sincere gratitude to all speakers and participants for their valuable contributions to ADF-21. The insights gained from this forum will be instrumental in shaping the future of telecommunications development in the Asia Pacific region.
