Arghakhanchi Cement Employees Raise NPR 675,000 for Prime Minister Disaster Relief Fund

The workforce of Arghakhanchi Cement has voluntarily collected financial aid to support ongoing relief and rehabilitation operations for families affected by the severe Bhotekoshi flood disaster.

Total Raised Amount: Employees of the manufacturing company collectively raised NPR 675,000 to be deposited into the Prime Minister Disaster Relief Fund.
Voluntary Drive: According to Uddhav Karki, General Manager of Arghakhanchi Cement, the funds were gathered spontaneously through mutual consultation among staff members to assist citizens during the national crisis.
Milestone Contribution: Management noted that this collection marks the first instance where company employees have independently pooled such a significant sum for disaster relief efforts.
Operational and Management Support
Organizational Leadership: The fundraising drive was executed with active involvement across employee tiers, including Assistant General Manager Krishna Pandey.
Intended Deployment: The collected capital will be handed over to official state relief mechanisms to directly fund rescue operations, emergency relief distribution, and long-term rehabilitation for affected families.
