AWS User Group Nepal is bringing its much-anticipated event “AWS Community Day Nepal 2024” for the second time in Kathmandu, Nepal on April 21st.

 

With Genese Solution and Sunway College as co-organizers, this event promises to be an engaging platform for cloud enthusiasts, tech professionals, and industry leaders to converge, exchange insights, and explore the latest trends in cloud computing.

AWS User Groups are unified by community-led learnings and diverse by the wide range of tools and technologies intimately linked with Amazon Web Services, including blockchain, artificial intelligence, high scalability/performance computing, and cloud computing technology.

AWS Community Days are community-organized cloud education events with technical talks and demonstrations conducted by knowledgeable AWS users and global business executives.

AWS Community Day Nepal 2024 will feature a dynamic lineup of speakers, workshops, and networking opportunities tailored to empower attendees with knowledge and practical skills in leveraging Amazon Web Services (AWS) to drive innovation and business growth.
Participants can anticipate the Event opening at 9:30 am with registrations beginning at 9:00 am with tea/coffee.

The Event will begin with:

Message from the AWS User Group Leader: Presented by our Chief Guest Mr. Anjani Phuyal, an AWS Ambassador and AUG Nepal Leader. He is one of the renowned experts and thought leaders in the field of cloud computing who will share his expertise, providing valuable insights into the evolving landscape of AWS technologies and best practices.

Welcome Speech Principal or Chief (Sunway College):

The attendees will be addressed with the welcome speech of the Principal/Chief of Sunway College.

Insightful Keynote Session 2:

The Keynote Session 2 will be led by Mr. Biswajit Mohapatra, the Head of Customer Relations, CIO Advisory, India and South Asia at AWS. He will be covering a range of topics from cloud architecture design to optimizing AWS infrastructure, facilitated by seasoned professionals and AWS-certified trainers.

Core Technical Session 1:

This will be presented by Mr. Sushant Paudyal who is recognized as an Amazon Web Services Ambassador in Nepal. Sushant is an active member of the thriving community of AWS User Group Nepal.

The Power of Community – Building Better Together: Will be presented by Ms. Ridhima Kapoor, a Developer Marketing Manager at AWS India. She brings experience from previous roles at Google, Gameloft, BitGiving, and Frankly.me.

Women in Tech Panel Discussion:

It will be initiated by the Shequal Foundation, which is also the Community Partner of the event. The Shequal Foundation is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to revolutionizing the ecosystem by ensuring equal perspectives for both men and women in all actions affecting their lives. Its mission is to recognize, respect, and include the individuality of women.

After this Panel Discussion, the Session on ‘DevOps Track’ will begin with keynote speakers, Sandip Das, Tejas Gupta, Abhinav Dubey, Ramneek Kalra, who will unleash their knowledge power of DevOps on AWS.

Thereafter, Sundar Shrestha, Abiral Sangroula, Nilesh Vaghela, and Vishal Alhat will share their insights on the ‘Cloud Security Track’. Followed by a session on ‘AIML Track’ by Pooja Shrestha, Raju Mandal, and Kanwar Singh, who will be sharing their practical implications on discovering the vector database power of Amazon Aurora and Amazon RDS.

Finally, the Event will conclude at 4:00 pm and networking sessions will begin among the participants and speakers thereafter.

Participants of the event have to purchase a minimal ticketing charge of Rs 500 per individual through the event Registration Partner “Khalti”. This fee includes access to all sessions and complimentary refreshments throughout the day. While “Shequal” and “Girls in Tech” have come up as significant Community Partners of the event.
