BoK (Bank Of Kathmandu) QR service is available in various transport services in Eastern Nepal. Another QR-Services has come into action as of March 12 (Falgun 28). Now bus fares can be paid through QR Code.

Bank of Kathmandu has launched a QR service to collect fares on 22 busses run by Purbi Nepal Yatayat, Kankai Mai Pathibhara Yatayat, and the Super Janasewa Yatayat Committee. In order to expand its QR digital business throughout the country.

The bank introduced the service in the middle of a formal program on Falgun 28. On the occasion, Ravi Kafle, Chief of the Provincial Office of the Bank of Kathmandu Limited, handed over the QR to the members of the concerned Transport Committee.

With the launch of this service, all passengers traveling on Purbi Nepal Yatayat from Kakadvitta, Birtamod, Damak, Ullabari, Belbari, Birotchowk to Biratnagar and Dharan to Itahari will be able to scan the QR handed over to the Bank of Kathmandu and pay the bus fare.

There are 7 buses operated by Kankai Mai Pathibhara Yatayat that are providing QR bus service.

Similarly, the short-distance transport services offered by the bank will be digitally charged. By scanning the QR in 5 busses of the Super Janasewa Yatayat Committee. The bank said that the passengers can pay by registering the ticket at the ticket counter or paying the fare directly on the bus by scanning the QR handed over by the bank.
