In an evening filled with cricketing fever and exclusivity, Changan Nepal, the official distributor of Deepal’s futuristic cars in Nepal, collaborated with the Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN), for a memorable event honoring legendary cricketer Brian Lara.

Held today at the Yak & Yeti hotel, the gathering was an intimate affair, attended by CAN officials, team owners of NPL, cricketers, and Deepal customers.
Often regarded as one of the greatest cricketers of all time, Brian Lara’s charisma and stories of his remarkable career captivated the audience. His ability to connect with fans, even far from his home, made the evening truly special. Brian Lara was welcomed by Paras Khadka, secretary of CAN and Brand ambassador of Deepal EVs, and Vishnu Kumar Agarwal, Chairman of MAW Vriddhi Autocorp.
The event celebrated Nepal’s growing cricketing fever and marked Lara’s presence in Nepal for the promotion of the Nepal Premier League (NPL). As a highlight of the event, Brian Lara signed Deepal cricket bats for attendees, creating lasting memories and an emotional connection that will be remembered for years. At the event, cricket legend Lara shared his passion for cricket and unforgettable stories with the host Andrew Leonard.
