By joining this esteemed global network, TBC reaffirms its dedication to promoting sustainable practices and advancing the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

The United Nations Global Compact is a voluntary initiative that encourages organizations to align their operations and strategies with ten universally accepted principles in the areas of human rights, labor, environment, and anti-corruption. With over 17,000 companies and 4,000 non-business participants, the UNGC represents a powerful collective working towards a more sustainable and inclusive global economy.

As a participant, The British College will integrate the principles of the UNGC into its educational programs, research, and community initiatives. This aligns with TBC’s ongoing efforts to foster sustainability through its curriculum and projects, such as the BBA: Innovate for Impact, which is already recognized for integrating green entrepreneurship and social enterprise management.

“We are thrilled to join the UN Global Compact,” said Sunita Basnet, Head of Sustainability at The British College. “This membership not only strengthens our commitment to sustainability but also provides us with a platform to collaborate with like-minded organizations worldwide. Together, we can drive meaningful change and contribute to a more sustainable future.”

The British College looks forward to engaging with the global community of the UNGC and contributing to collective efforts that will make a lasting impact on the world.
