The call center (grievance management and inquiry center) of Kathmandu Metropolitan City has come into operation on Monday.
Earlier, as per the decision of the first executive meeting of the metropolis on May 30 the call center has been brought into operation in the Rastriya Sabha Griha from Monday.
Kathmandu Metropolitan City Mayor Balendra Shah (Balen) says that a system of listening to the complaints of the citizens has been developed to establish the metropolitan as a responsible local government.

The call center can receive 15 telephones at a time and the CDR (call detail record) of the call will be kept securely on the server of the metropolitan. At present, it has begun with 5 telephones.
