Nepal Entrepreneurs’ Hub (NEHUB) seeks to organize a Startup Weekend titled ‘Startup Weekend Water’ focusing on the water to realize any ideas that can provide solutions to water management. This would also touch base with SDG Goal number 6 “Ensure availability and sustainable management of water and sanitation for all” among the seventeen (17) Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) set by the United Nations in 2015.
The objective of the Startup Weekend is to fundamentally disrupt the way the world is approaching new venture formation. Startup Weekend is a democratizer of entrepreneurship, making it accessible to as many people as possible-regardless of religion, race, gender, or socio-political differences.
Event Dates: 28 – 30th September 2018.
Participation Cover Charge: EARLY BIRD NPR. 2000 /- (includes event resources and meals during the event).

Startup Weekend Schedule
Day 1: Meet, Pitch & Team Up (Friday)
Meetup with fellow participants. They will form teams and start working on shortlisted ideas after initial pitching and voting. They can work as long as the venue allows.
Day 2: Learn & Work (Saturday)
The participants get introduced to their mentors. These guys will help make the ideas practical to achieve. The teams will work all day on the concept and formulate a plan of the business.
Day 3: Present & Choose (Sunday)
Half of the day will be spent on final preparation and mock presentation sessions. The teams will have 5 minutes to present the product or service to the crowd and a panel of experts. Finally, the top three teams are announced.
