In a significant development for Nepal’s information and communication technology (CAN Federation and USAID Sign) sector, the Computer Association of Nepal (CAN) Federation and the United States Agency for International Development’s Trade and Competitiveness have signed a Letter of Cooperation (LOC) aimed at enhancing the ICT ecosystem in Nepal and its positive impact on the Nepali people.
The LOC was signed by CAN Federation’s President Ranjeet Kumar Poddar and USAID Trade and Competitiveness’s Chief of Party Agnes Luz as the signatories. The Secretary General of the CAN Federation was also present during the signing ceremony.

This collaboration marks a significant step towards enhancing Nepal’s ICT ecosystem, fostering economic growth, creating opportunities for various stakeholders, including marginalized groups, and hosting programs to boost the competitiveness of the IT and digital services sectors.
