VACANCY !!! We are looking for a Technology Center Manager to manage BibekSheel Nepali Party’s IT platform.
Technology Center Manager:
1. He / She is responsible for the effective operation, provisioning and maintenance of IT related projects of Bibeksheel Nepali (BSN) team.
2. Participates in technical research and development to enable continuing innovation within the infrastructure. This individual will assist the BSN team with technical and functional issues such as providing required data, reports and helps in increasing the efficiency within BSN. This individual coordinates IT resources within and outside BSN to meet the IT requirements of BSN.
3. Reports to and works under the guidance of BSN IT Technology Center board that reports to the Chief Executive Officer of the executive wing of BibekSheel Nepali.
Technical skills:
1. At least 1-year experience in programming and software development (e.g., in one of these PHP, Java, C#, C++, HTML, javascript, Perl, Python)
2. Understanding of Database System & Data modelling (e.g. Access, SQL Server, MySQL, ERM, UML)
3. Understanding of Open source web-based applications
4. Good understanding of Knowledge Management
5. Nice to have: Basic knowledge of Hardware Systems
6. Should be focused to create platform which generates Data, Report etc.
Management Skills:
1. Must be able to remotely coordinate between diverse IT professionals spread around the world
2. Knowledge management skills
3. Good communication skills
4. Good understanding of ‘how developers in open source community work.’
5. S/he must have at least one year managing IT projects and IT clients
6. Nice to have: Sympathy towards BSN philosophy
Academic Qualification:
Bachelor in Computer Science, BIT or IT related field.
Salary: around 25,000 Rs per month (may change according to qualifications)
