During the annual post-monetary policy discussion organized by IBN Media, Chiranjibi Adhikari, Cyber Security Advisor of the Nepal Chamber of Commerce and General Secretary of the Federation of Computer Association Nepal, emphasized the need to prioritize Nepali software products and their valuation. He requested Governor Maha Prasad Adhikari of Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) to ensure that loans provided by Nepali banks give preference to domestic software solutions.

He stressed the urgent need for policy development to control fraud in QR payments and cross-border transactions. Adhikari’s recommendations aim to strengthen the local software industry and safeguard digital transactions, fostering a secure and innovative economic environment in Nepal.

IBN Media Hosts Annual Post-Monetary Policy Discussion
