Coolpad Group Limited (formerly known as China Wireless Technologies Limited) has returned to the Nepali market with back-to-back launches of its products. Among those devices, Coolpad Cool 10 is the latest device from the Chinese smartphone manufacturer to be launched in Nepal. Display and design
The smartphone packs a 6.53-inch full HD+ display and runs on a MediaTek Helio P70 octa-core processor. The phone comes in 4GB RAM + 128GB ROM variant in the Nepalese market which costs around Rs. 18,495. According to the company, the phone has a unique look, thanks to its dual 3D radian intimate glass design. It has a glossy gradient finish on the rear end along with a triple camera module with a side-mounted fingerprint on its left. Besides launching in the same month, Cool 10 and Cool S both share the same chipset i.e, MediaTek Helio P60, and run on Android 10 out-of-the-box. The phone is powered by an octa-core processor with four Cortex-A73 cores and four Cortex-A53 cores both clocked at 2.0GHz.
Camera and battery
Talking about the optics, the Coolpad Cool 10 features three camera modules at the back, the main sensor being a 16-megapixel unit, along with a secondary 5-megapixel telephoto lens, and 2-megapixel depth sensor. On the front, it has a single 8-megapixel front-facing camera hidden in the notch. Talking about the video recording feature, both front and rear cameras can go up to 1080p at 30fps which seems quite decent for a budget smartphone. The device is powered by a 4900mAh battery which charges over the USB Type-C interface. This massive battery will take you throughout the day with normal usage, and the phone itself is equipped with a 10W charging. Furthermore, it has USB Type-C on the bottom and a 3.5mm headphone jack on the front.
