Abhijit KC assumed the primary executive leadership role effective from the date of the board decision.

Prior to his new appointment, Abhijit KC was serving as the Deputy Chief Executive Officer of Crest Micro Life Insurance. With the chief executive officer position remaining vacant, the board of directors entrusted KC with the responsibility of leading institutional operations as Acting CEO until further notice.

The chief executive officer position became vacant after the Nepal Insurance Authority issued an official letter to the company on Asar 1, 2083.

The regulatory directive stated that the Chief Executive Officer would remain suspended as a legal case related to an insurance offense is currently undergoing judicial proceedings.
Following the regulatory suspension order, Crest Micro Life Insurance had been operating without a functioning chief executive officer.
