With a focus on creating a robust cybersecurity ecosystem, CSRI Nepal works on multiple fronts to strengthen the nation’s digital security, from research and policy development to practical training and public engagement.
A key initiative led by CSRI Nepal is the Annual Cybersecurity Summit, a national-level conference that brings together experts, policymakers, and industry leaders to discuss emerging cyber security threats, technological solutions, and policy frameworks. This summit provides a platform for in-depth discussions on how Nepal can enhance its cyber security resilience, addressing the challenges of a rapidly changing digital landscape.
In addition to the summit, CSRI Nepal organizes a variety of events and programs aimed at building capacity and fostering collaboration. CSRI Nepal also places a strong emphasis on training and education. Its University cyber security boot camps are intensive, hands-on training programs designed to provide students and professionals with practical cyber security skills. These boot camps include live hacking simulations, real-world exercises, and mentorship from industry experts, equipping participants with the tools they need to tackle current and future cyber security challenges.
Alongside these programs, CSRI Nepal is actively engaged in policy advocacy, working with national stakeholders to improve cyber security regulations and strategies. The organization collaborates with academic institutions, government agencies, and private-sector organizations to develop comprehensive, forward-thinking cyber security policies that will ensure the protection of Nepal’s digital assets and infrastructure.
