CyberUtsav 2.0 Hackathon Expands to 4 Cities in Nepal, Empowering 500+ Students with Free Tech Learning

Following the resounding success of its inaugural edition in Kathmandu last year, CyberUtsav 2.0 Hackathon is set to return with a bigger footprint and an even broader mission.

Now in Four Major Cities
This year’s edition will expand beyond the capital to include Pokhara, Chitwan, and Butwal, alongside Kathmandu, making it a national-level initiative. The events will be held between August and September 2025.
Organizers aim to bring the power of collaborative tech learning to a larger student base by hosting the hackathon across four major urban centers in Nepal.
Free and Inclusive for All Participants
CyberUtsav 2.0 is completely free of cost for all participants. The event is designed to make technical education more accessible, especially for youth and students from diverse backgrounds.
With hands-on learning, mentorship, and real-time innovation, the hackathon will engage over 500 students from across the country. Participants will work on solving real-world problems using technology.

The organizing team has also put out a call to individuals, companies, and institutions who are interested in supporting, partnering, or contributing to this impactful initiative.
