ICT Foundation Nepal, in collaboration with Huawei, is proud to announce the upcoming Digital Nepal Conclave – 2023. This conclave will take place at The Soaltee Hotel, Tahachal, Kathmandu on the 23rd and 24th of June 2023 (2080 Ashadh 8 and 9).
Under the slogan of ‘Fostering Digitally Sakshyam Nepal’, this conclave will emphasize Nepal’s capability for digital transformation and the necessary policies and implementation.
The announcement has come today at a press conference at Hotel Himalaya. Hempal Shrestha, Razan Lamsal, Zhangliang James, and Dr. Birendra Kumar Mishra were present at the press conference.
Six different themes have been designed to arrange 15 sessions involving 70 speakers. This conclave will be featuring a comprehensive agenda encompassing a wide range of topics including digital policies and regulations, digital infrastructure, e-governance, cybersecurity, data management and analytics, digital innovation, AI and many more. Participants can look forward to engaging keynote speeches, interactive panel discussions, workshops, and presentations by experts.
Besides the Digital Nepal Conclave 2023, Huawei will organize Mobile Nepal Congress (MNC) by equipping its pavilion with cutting-edge technologies and solutions that can benefit enterprises, telecom, and ICT companies. Huawei has set GUIDE as the theme that stands for Gigaverse Initiative, Ultra-automation Speed Up, Intelligent Computing & Network as a service, Differentiated Expectation on demand, and Environmental, Social, and Governance for MNC.
The combined arrangement will bring together Ministers, Secretaries, government bodies, industry leaders, political leaders, tech experts, entrepreneurs, academicians, young tech enthusiasts, media, and other relevant stakeholders. Dr. Chang-hak, Choi’s e-governance master plan developer of Nepal along with other different subject matter experts from different countries will join the conclave with their insight and suggestion.

Along with Huawei, various national and international companies have participated and cooperated to organize the conclave.
The conclave has the collaboration of the Ministry of Communication and Information Technology, the Department of Information Technology, the Telecommunication Authority, Nepal Telecom, Asia Foundation, and others. To participate in the two-day conference, which is going to be organized as the biggest digital conclave of the year, anyone can register through the www.digitalconclave.org website.
As a pre-event campaign of Digital Nepal Conclave 2023, IFN also organized Digital Pradesh Samvad 4.0 in all seven provinces of Nepal.
It preempted to evolve as a discourse on the issue of a transformational digital society and create an empowered ICT sector in NEPAL. Before organizing the conclave, the organizer ICT Foundation Nepal had conducted a digital province Samvad program in all seven provinces.
After Samvad with the chief ministers, ministers, stakeholders, and the private sector, the organizer is willing to conduct further research on the digital situation and capacity of the seven provinces and the digital scenario, and that too will be made public in the conclave.
In the Samvad and research organized in the province, efforts were made to explore the digital capabilities of the province regarding ICT policy, human capital, digital services and applications, digital infrastructure, data, and the ICT industry.
