Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli told, the country has already crossed political transition time and now it is stepping towards economic transformation for which there is a greater necessity of Information communication and technology.
During the opening day of ‘Digital Nepal Conference’ PM Oli said, if we fail to run along with the development of information and technology then we will be left behind. Oli also informed the government is becoming acutely aware of the importance of information and technology for the development of the entire nation. The conference is organized by the Ministry of Information and technology and Frost and Sullivan.
The government has already begun the system of online payment, online education and among others. The conference will benefit the entire citizen. Likewise, it will also enhance the skill regarding digital means added PM Oli.
PM Oli pledges to develop all the aspects of society within 2030. He said “It is not only our duty but also the requirement,” to fulfill all those task implementations of digital Nepal is mandatory.
Likewise, during the event Minister for Communication and Information Technology Gokul Baskota informed the development of information and technology plays significant roles in education, health sector, tourism, employment, financial sector, agriculture and among others. He also said like in our neighbor countries India and China the government of Nepal is also planning to run a various program for the development of information and technology.
