“INET Kathmandu” conference to be held on 18 March 2016 at Hotel Yak & Yeti in Kathmandu, Nepal. This conference is being organized by ISOC Nepal in collaboration with Nepal Telecom Authority (NTA) and Internet Service Providers Association of Nepal (ISPAN).
The theme of the INET Kathmandu is “Learning Lessons from Nepal – Embracing Information and Communication Technologies for Disaster Management.” The conference aims to bring together International agencies and local stakeholders involved in emergency planning, emergency services, disaster management, and related work, anticipating over 200 participants from the Government, Mobile Operators, Disaster management groups, International and regional organizations, Academic institutions, ICT entrepreneurs, commercial companies and the general public.
